My daughter has attended this school for 2 1/2 years. I can't say enough about how loving the teachers are and what a truly enriching environment Mt. Cross is. The lessons plans are fun, educational and spiritual. The teachers are loving, kind, warm, fun, educational and spiritual!!! Happy, happy, happy school! Sad that we are leaving for Kindergarten. If they offered Kindergarten we would be staying for sure!!!!!!

My older son went to Mt. Cross, and my second son is currently attending. All of the teachers are loving and so passionate about being teachers. They love and support the kids so well and help them to learn and prepare for elementary school. What I love most is that the teachers truly love my kids, and share stories about them with me daily. I don't think I could find a better preschool for my children.

Mount Cross CDC has the most loving and caring staff. I know my daughter is happy to go to school every morning as she picks something to share with her teachers and friends. I know she feels loved and cared for when she tell us what her teachers helped her with or what they taught her. This care for the program and students comes from the top down. Mrs. Channels is the absolute BEST! Thank you Mount Cross team for all that you do to shape little minds and hearts.

I am so glad we found this school. My son can't wait to go to school to see his friends and learn each day. Wonderful and well thought out lessons and activities. Are teachers at this school effective? The teachers do a great job making learning FUN! Does this school develop strong character in its students? I have noticed a wonderful change in our son.

I moved from the Orange Co. area to Camarillo when I was 6 months pregnant with my first child and was completely new to the area.  After my son was born, I started taking him to the park and would ask the parents/caregivers of the well behaved and polite children, where they went to preschool/school and I got a lot of "Mount Cross Preschool".  I interviewed quite a bit of preschools and I decided on the first school I toured.  Mount Cross Preschool ... On the first day of school, my son cried on and off all morning.  As I was walking to my car, I looked back and saw the teacher sat him on her lap and gave him a hug.  I immediately felt so relieved and happy that I not only found a preschool that would enrich my son developmentally but, also nurture him emotionally too. I just feel in love with the staff, the fact that the children had music/singing everyday with a piano, the teacher/student is the best I could find, the curriculum, and chapel once a week. My son now loves going to school and I love it too!

We are SO blessed to have found Mount Cross, we are moving to Camarillo in the fall & it was highly recommended by our new neighbors .... Out of all the pre schools we toured this one had the best teacher to student ratio & a warm feeling. Everyone welcomed us and were so friendly. The standards and curriculum met our needs for our son and we can't wait to get him started!

My son started going to Mount Cross in January 2021 during COVID-19. I had heard great things about this preschool and got a really great vibe from our tour. The director Cathy Channels has a warm heart and is very responsive. I was pleased with the COVID-19 safety protocols that the preschool had put in place. Although my son has only been going for almost 5 months now, he has made some great friends. I love that the school has an old-school playground - no plastic! I also love the transparency of what they do every day - there is a white board upon check-in that shows who the line leader is for that day, what book they'll be reading, and what the morning snack will be ... But all in all, I would highly recommend this Christian preschool.

We love this school! Both my children attended this school and Mount Cross has helped them grow intellectually, emotionally, and socially. Wonderful place with caring teachers and staff.

Mount Cross preschool is amazing because of the kind, diligent, experienced staff! It is a positive, nurturing environment. The workshop with pop was free and included a delicious breakfast and multiple fun craft activities! This preschool has truly been a blessing for our family.

Mount cross is a great school. We looked at several schools before making the decision to send my daughter here, and we are so happy that we made the right choice. My daughter looks forward to go to school. The staff makes it a great experience and my daughter has grown substantially from it. I recommend this school without a doubt.

All three of my children have gone to Mount Cross preschool, and I strongly recommend them to anyone. I am completely comfortable with the staff and facilities, even when dropping off my first child for the very first time. Our kids cannot wait to go in the morning, and really enjoy the Faith based teaching. We have taken our children to other preschool classes and activities around the community and schools, and there is no comparison. Mount Cross is wonderful!

I am so glad we found this school! My son LOVES going to class!!! The teachers and director make learning fun and he has a blast showing us his projects at the end of the day. Plus, he sings his Chapel songs all day long. It is a great school, with great programs that has people that truly loves and wants to see what is best for the children.
